T-Ball 2012

T-ball has been under way for about 2 weeks now. We are so excited!!!!! Kennedy played at the YMCA last year and she is playing in Montgomery Little League this year. We are very excited about that....#1 the field is less than 5 minutes from the house:):)!

F-U-N has been the word to describe it! I did not look forward to the 2-day practices but they have lessened to one to no practices since games are underway. It has been so much to watch her play and she is having fun!
Jeremy and I are helping out as needed...for him it is fun to just be "daddy" and not be coaching for a bit. She loves every minute of it!

Rodeo Day

Kennedy on Rodeo Day last week:). They spent the week learning about the "Lone Star State". She can tell you all about the state flower, how to spell Texas, and how to camp out like a "real" cow girl!

Tea Party

One of Kennedy's best friends Brooklyn has been wanting to have a tea party and so this past Saturday was the date. The girls had fun dressing the part, putting on make-up and nails, and got to enjoy some yummy treats. Kennedy came home with all kinds of goodies---they definitely got pampered:)

American Girl

The Salon

We ventured up to Dallas two weekends ago to see Taryn, John, Reagan, and Hudson. Taryn and I have talked about bringing the girls to The American Girl Story and we finally did it!  The first time I stepped into this store I was amazed and the second time I stepped into the store this Saturday I was amazed all over again. Reagan and Kennedy had a blast!

One reason every little girl wants one of these dolls is because you can get one that looks like you. Kennedy and Reagan searched the look alike dolls, however, when they saw the Bitty Baby, they were sold. Kennedy has always been a "baby"  girl. She has one in tote all the time, in the car, bed, trampoline, wherever she goes she has one. Every year from Santa she asks for a baby, so this was a perfect treat for her. We will have to go again one day to get the "big girl" doll. It was so special to spend the day with one of my best friends in the entire world and for our girls to spend time together.

Happy Birthday PaPa

Happy birthday to the first man in my life that "hung in the moon". We hope you have a truly wonderful day. You are loved by so many especially your family. You are our dad and have shown us how to love, lead, and forgive. We hope your day is as special as you! We love you Dad and PaPa.

A dad is someone who

wants to catch you before you fall

but instead picks you up,

brushes you off,

and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who

wants to keep you from making mistakes

but instead lets you find your own way,

even though his heart breaks in silence

when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who

holds you when you cry,

scolds you when you break the rules,

shines with pride when you succeed,

and has faith in you even when you fail...

Money, Trains, and Basketball

Jaxon is all about going to watch his sister play basketball, gymnastics, or baseball, however, when he gets bored he is always making tracks out of anything. This weekend his item of choice for track construction was coins from my wallet.

Valentines Fun

Jaxon's Sweet Valentines Box
I love it because he colored his little hearts and put his favorite stickers on it

Kennedy's Valentine's Box
I love her box! Unique made to look like a boat!
You can see what a "big girl" she has gotten to be.

Beautiful flowers left by my hubby.
19 Valentine Days together.
I love this for so many reasons. You truly are my best friend, my soul mate,
and I am so glad I said "yes"  in November of 1993

Our Valentines was truly no different than any other day.  Yes some extra sweets and treats were enjoyed. Kennedy had gymnastics and Jeremy had baseball. He came home before the game to leave beautiful flowers, a super sweet card, and text us to say "I miss y'all".  No matter where we are or aren't, Valentines is a sweet reminder of just how "sweet" life is. Love to my Valentine and mini-Valentines-life would not be complete without you.
