Christmas 2009 Rewind

We had a wonderful holiday visiting family and friends. To follow are pictures of the holiday events. It was a blessing this year to add to our family and have Jaxon here for his first Christmas.

Maurer Christmas

On the 26th evening we headed to Uncle Jimmie and Aunt Barbara's for Maurer Christmas. We enjoyed watching the kids sing karaoke and Santa made a special stop to deliver some presents! Thank you Santa!!!!!
MacKenzie and Kennedy

At one point we looked over and Avery and Kennedy were holding hands and singing. They get along well..the sleep over will happen soon:)

Christmas at MaMa and PaPa's

We celebrated Christmas Eve at MaMa and PaPa's! We had a special visitor ..Santa came and the kids were so excited! Before his arrival we had some great carols and even heard the "ABC's" by our very own Kennedy and MacKenzie.
Okay..so everyone is a fan of Santa except Jaxon

Priceless

We are blessed to have amazing parents in our lives that in turn are even more amazing grandparents. This is a photo of MaMa, PaPa and Kennedy walking in downtown Montgomery looking at lights. We attempted to see Dearing Dazzle but due to the rain we were unable to see it. Kennedy was riding with them and next thing we knew she was out walking looking at lights to get a better view. We love our Granny, PoPo, MaMa, and PaPa...they adore their grandchildren and are simply sweet and amazing.

Let the Festivities Begin

This was our first year to be home on the 24th morning so we decided to have Christmas here with the kids. Kennedy left Santa a cookie (there were two however she decided to eat one of them). It took her longer than usual to fall asleep because she didn't want to miss Santa coming.

Hey, there's something in my stocking!!

Jaxon's 1st Christmas. He is happy to play with the paper:)

Merry Christmas Jaxon

Santa brought Kennedy barbie toys...she was so excited. She opened the present and said, "Ah....I love it!"

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a blessed and merry Christmas. Remember the true reason for the season...the birth of Jesus. Happy Birthday Jesus!

The Polar Express

Hot chocolate......come aboard the Polar Express. We packed up the car and headed to Palestine yesterday with the Maurer's to enjoy a good old train ride. The kids really enjoyed it and eagerly awaited the arrival of Santa. Overall, it was a great trip and I am sure we will be going again when Jaxon gets a little older.
All Aboard.....The Polar Express
What a nice looking group:)

The Polar Express

A before picture.....Jaxon stayed with MaMa and PaPa. Don't worry..you will
get to go when you are "big"

Avery looking for the North Pole

I have my ticket......however I do not think our conductor was as handy as the one on the real Polar Express...do you see "believe"

Kennedy dancing in the aisle with the chef
Both Avery and Kennedy enjoyed dancing

It's Santa

Kennedy and the conductor

When she saw the train she yelled, "It's the Polar Express!!!!!!"

One of my favorite photos! Caleb joined in with the big kids too...what cute kids:)

Avery and Kennedy. Kennedy and Avery had so much fun together...this is one disadvantage to not living in Brenham....they were planning a sleep over which we postponed for a later date!

Silver Wings Party 2009

Every year at this time we celebrate with family and friends packing up the kids and traveling to different functions. One party that we look forward to is the Silver Wings party. It has been fourteen years since I worked there and it is great to catch up with old and new friends.

Throw them all in! We may be contacting Gamblers Anonymous in the future!
