Pre-K....Moving Up

Jaxon graduated from Pre-K last Friday, May 16th. He has mixed emotions about all of this...his graduation and transition to Kindergarten. We have been BLESSED to have such an amazing school family and we have grown very attached.

Jaxon tested for the Dual Language program at MES and got in scoring the highest level you could obtain. It is a language driven test and as we all know he would talk to a wall:). On a serious note it assessed his expressive and receptive language skills. On one test component he was asked to tell about something he recently learned and why it was interesting. His answer....."I learned that Jesus died on the cross for my sins." This kid in a secular setting, not guided said this. They brought out the test booklet and showed me....I cried! His teacher gave him the word descriptor, "Moderator", being one that is focused on fairness for all. She said he was smart and they had come to the conclusion that he would one day be a professional baseball player and minister.

Carter James-5 Months

5 Month Pictures

Carter

Grant

These pictures tell you how behind we are...5 1/2 months and stickers actually on bellies not a onesie...it works!! The boys are doing well! They are developmentally socially---blowing raspberries and cooing is the name of the game. Grant is rolling supine to prone and Carter can but prefers not too. They are little piglets and growing little boys!!!! Our first teeth are around the corner which can being accounted for the number of bibs they soak daily (our record is 6). They are very happy and EASY at the moment. I will count my blessings.

Basketball Stud

Jaxon is one of those kids that sports comes naturally to. He has participated in a basketball league at his school. He scored all but 2 baskets for his team. Last week was "trophy" day and this kid was on cloud 9!

Area Champs

Our favorite senior, Nate

Our play-off journey ended at the quarter-final game series.
The team battled hard and learned a lot as a young team.

A look back......
