Carter was a champ with his cast application. When he finally realized what they were doing he cried a tiny bit. The specialist they had come in to engage and distract him was spot on with Mickey Mouse and Paw Patrol!

Adult Getaway

So back in October we were able to enjoy a much needed adult getaway to the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. We hung by the pool all day, watched some Pat Green and enjoyed time away. Blessed by these friends! Upon on our return, and after being home 2 hours is when poor Carter broke his arm!

I-9 Flag Football

Jaxon loves flag football this season! His team has one loss on the season and plays in the Super Bowl next week! He is a natural!

First Broken Bone

We had our first official broken bone in the Schramm house. Jeremy and I were able to get away on an adult weekend. We were home about 2 hours with the kids playing in the driveway on their ride on toys and shooting hoops when the accident happened. Carter was playing on a riding "turtle" toy and caught himself the wrong way. Luckily, we had a friend here who stayed with all the other children while we rushed him to the ER. He was a champ and barely cried on the way there. In the ER, he charmed the doctors, talked about football and "touchdowns" and he managed to get an ice cream when the process was over.

Our Bandito

Jaxon made the Banditos this fall! He is playing on Banditos Black, which is an elite baseball team. It is a different world and Jaxon is soaking it all up!
