Blessings

Jumping into the full swing of school and fall activities has been an adjustment  but a needed one after the laid back summer. The kids are LOVING school. Jaxon is thriving in his class and is quite the little charmer and a smart little guy. Kennedy is enjoying kindergarten and is coming home with her share of the standard kindergarten curriculum homework and now Spanish homework as well. There are many "new" things about school that she likes to include: buying her lunch, going to Spanish class, LOVES her teacher Mrs. Atkinson, and has made many new friends. She does the YMCA at her school 3 days a week and likes it. The other days mommy or daddy get her early and we normally make a run to enjoy the new snow cone stand by her school. 

The kids are both in gymnastics and soccer and little miss started girl scouts. Between work and extracurricular activities our life is full and we wouldn't want it any other way. We love any day that we get to be with the kids at home or to be involved with them in the classroom or "on the field." 

Updates on Mommy and Daddy=Good! Daddy is in football season and we go to the games and cheer on the Bears. Not only is daddy coaching on the high school field he also gets to coach some pretty amazing 3 year old soccer players. Mommy is busy too---working hard to get all of her "work" done in a 4-day week to spend more time at home. This week we also had one huge blessing and that was to refinance our home from a 30 to a 15-year note at 2.75%! Very exciting in our eyes!

So things for the Schramm Clan are going good. We are living each day one day at a time and counting each day as a BLESSING.  Thank God for these blessings.

Daisy Girl Scout

We officially did it-----meet our Daisy Girl Scout and Mom aka Daisy group co-leader. Initially when we said "yes" to this obligation I was a little overwhelmed about the unknown. My feelings of anxiety have subsided and we are ready for a fun year! We have a great group of girls in the troop and leading with one of my best friends is a blessing! We will keep you updated on our journey in girl scouts!

So Fitting

Jaxon as a Red Bull.......so fitting!! Daddy is coaching his team and this little guy is SO EXCITED.  As if our plate isn't full enough, when Jaxon's team didn't have a coach Jeremy volunteered. We are splitting forces some to get to both games but it works. When Kennedy and I walked to Jaxon's game after her double-header finished, all we could do was laugh. I could hear some kid growling and saw someone going at it full-force....yes it was MY SON!! He scored two goals and is asking daily when he gets to play again. We will have the schedule soon! Just plan to find us out the park every Saturday until November!

Our Galaxy Girl

We signed the kids up for Montgomery Soccer this year versus the YMCA in Conroe partly due to location. The field is 3 minutes from the house (big smile).  Kennedy held her own and did great Saturday. She is playing U8 league which means she is playing with girls up to 8 years old.  We are so excited to watch her excel. Go Galaxy!

This weekend was the beginning of soccer for The Schramm Clan. This is Kennedy's 3rd season to play and Jaxon's 1st and they are both so excited to take the field.

3.5 Years and Growing

Jaxon is 3 and a half years old...sniff, sniff. I could eat this little boy up--he has a laid-back, comical, sweet, and outgoing personality.  At 3 and a half Jaxon he loves all things BOY-cars, trucks, riding his bike with training wheels, and balls.   Jaxon is learning so much in school and at home we have worked on him tracing his name.  We are so proud of our little guy!

First Day of Gymnastics

It's officially begun....the days of having just one kiddo to transport is now over. Jaxon started gymnastics last week and actually takes a class at the same time that Kennedy does. It is nice to be able to watch them both at one time!!

Not only did little man start gymnastics, he starts soccer in 2 weeks!! Everyday he has his cleats on and is outside practicing. We will have a fun-filled fall!
