I'm Going to Tell on You

The new famous last words of Jaxon...."I'm going to tell on you!" From what we can conclude is that there is a classmate that is using these words and I am hoping not in protest to Jaxon. However, if it was in protest to him, I would not be too surprised.

When he is in disagreement, not feeling understood, or when he does get in trouble and is sent to time-out we hear, "I'm going to tell on you!" It is hard not to laugh sometimes and the seriousness of his face tells it all. I did chuckle the other night at bedtime when he was protesting some event...maybe even a book and told Jeremy, "Daddy, I am going to tell on you!"

He keeps us on our toes and laughing! Last night he had a "bobo" and he said Momma, "That tiger bit my finger!!"  We're going to have to keep a close watch on this one!

Spring Break Recap #2-The Band Perry

On Wednesday had our 1st trip to the Houston Rodeo with the kids. They LOVED it! We had a late start with naps but in the end getting there at 5:00 was perfect. We went through the kid friendly exhibits, ate some artery clogging food, and then found our seats for the rodeo. The kids were mesmerized by the bulls, horses and Mutton Bustin.

The Band Perry was good too. I wasn't sure we would make it through the show. After the fireworks and band introduction, we found Jaxon on the floor, ears covered, peeking over the seats. He eventually moved to Jeremy's lap and placed Jeremy's hands over his ears and then his own hands on top of Jeremy's. He smiled and enjoyed the music from the safety of daddy's lap. They are already talking about next year!

Spring Break Recap- Montgomery Little League Night

I LOVE SPRING BREAK!!!! A short break from work and a well-needed break with the family. Jeremy is "off" spring break with the exception of games and practices and my break started Tuesday. We kept the kids home and enjoyed staying up late (late for us 11:)) and sleeping in.  Tuesday night was MLL night and Kennedy got to go on the field with her daddy and got a signed photo from all the bears. Jaxon thought he was in heaven too pen in hand waiting for autographs.

Birthday Sundaes

Jaxon had a great 3rd birthday. The party was fun and we ended up with 60 people in our house. Yes it looked like a bomb went off after the birthday fun but that's what birthdays are for. We were so exited to finish our house so that we could fill it with people, love, and laughter. Clean up was quick!

We enjoyed church Sunday and Jaxon got a birthday sundae at 10am in the morning. Talk about a treat!!!! He partied like a 3-year-old and we are so excited to see what this year brings!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this BOY

This pictures tears at my heart strings...and you ask why?? We have seen this face before a couple of times. It is one of mere joy, happiness, and delight. Anyone who knows me knows that I am sentimental. I talk in front of patients, families, and church frequently and can sail through it fine, however, when my children are involved the tears start to flow no matter the occassion or emotion...happiness, sadness, hope, fear, and just being one proud momma.  I love this picture because it truly captures the moment!

Jaxon got a gator for his birthday!!! He is loving it!!!

Petting Zoo and Pony Ride

Jaxon celebrated his 3rd birthday in style with a petting zoo and pony rides. To say that he was estactic doesn't even measure up to the excitement this little boy had! Jaxon lived it up petting  a lama, goat, pig, mule, rooster, and rabbits.
