Dress up from the head up... MEOW

A little early for pictures Mommy!

Kennedy had her class party on Friday and the kids could dress up from the head up only. As we made a dash to Wal-Mart I saw this cat costume....perfect! Kennedy loves to play pretend as a cat so we picked it up and painted her face. She was really excited about dressing up. I can only imagine the excitement tonight with actual trick or treating!

Headed to School

This has been a fun week at school for the kids. Of course there is parties for Halloween and the school fall festival. Each day we had a fall outfit to sport thanks to grandparents.

Kennedy is excited about being Tinker Bell for Halloween

Pumpkin Carving

We finally picked out our pumpkin to carve. Kennedy has been busy lighting the Jack-O-Lantern every night. I am not sure if the kids were as big of a help as they thought they were to Daddy.

Mommy she is holding me too tight

Kennedy is actually taking out the seed here. All the other times she was trying to put them in as Jeremy took them out because he "needs seeds"

Hayride

Okay so I am a little behind in posting this week... I am not good on the computer and made some blog updates which turned south midweek! This past Sunday we enjoyed a good old hayride at Jamie and Wesley's. It turned out to be so much fun and the kids loved it. Explaining a hayride to Kennedy was more complicated than what I thought it would be...she was a huge fan and had a great time. I think told them thank you at least twice. It was nice to see family and friends. These are things we miss being away and it was nice to catch up. Check out the fun below!

Happy 1st Birthday Jackson

Now that we all have and are having little ones, birthdays seem to come along so quickly. It seemed like yesterday that we received the phone call that Jackson was born! We headed to El Campo on Saturday for his 1st birthday and had a great time as you can see below. This crew is family and we thank God everyday that we met in college, now, over nine years ago!!!! Sandi and Jon have two little boys and are expecting twin boys in March--we can't wait!!!!!!!!

Jaxon wasn't so sure about the grass

Cutie..

These pics are from the past weekend when we were cooped up waiting for sweet boy to get well. He is crawling everywhere! We laugh because he scoots his left leg instead of "patterning" to crawl...it's faster to get to all the toys. Conviently he has learned to crawl into our laps and whine so sadly with his arms held up...."pick me up!"

Isn't God Great.....

This past weekend we took full advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the park and to the pond to feed the ducks. Jaxon enjoyed his first time to swing and watched Kennedy so intently as he normally does. I only wonder what he is thinking...we shall know soon enough.

Now...check out those eyes....could you really say no????

Kennedy could not have been
more excited!
I am uncertain of who ate more bread, Kennedy or the ducks.

Now this is fun!

Cheerleading Clinic

This weekend we camped out at home with Jaxon until he was well. And...Kennedy got to attend the Montgomery Cheer Clinic Saturday morning. She was a little uncertain, but thanks to Brittney she settled in. She was the youngest one there, but by the time she got home she was sporting her new "jumps" (ie straight up and down:)) and yelling for the BEARS!

Poor Miss Brittney is getting a work out!

Would you check out that face...yeah what you lookin' at?

Brittney and Kennedy! Thank you Brittney for teaching Kennedy. She is talking about next year already.....get ready:)
