Two On Board

Jeremy and I have exciting news----we are expecting!! We went to our first appointment this past week and we had a BIG SURPRISE, we are expecting TWINS!!! We are very excited and have been on an emotional roller coaster the past couple of days.  The kids are ecstatic and can hardly wait for December to get here.

At our appointment we were 7 weeks 6 days. The babies are in their own sac which means they are fraternal. Twins do run in our family--we have 5 sets of twins in the family.

We will need the support of family and friends and although it is overwhelming at this moment in our lives we know that God chose us to parent these two little blessings.  The overabundance of calls, texts and emails has made us feel very loved!  We will keep you  posted on their growth and health.  Please keep us in your daily prayers!

Meet Tiger

We have a new member in our home---meet Tiger! Tiger was given to us by one of our good friends and he has melted our hearts. He is too little to be outside by himself so we has camped out in our utility room. The kids are in HEAVEN!

He will move outdoors in a couple of week and we pray that he and Chloe make friends!! We have held out on a dog forever and Tiger saved us from that question once more:)!!!

All-Star Tournament

So we have had two tournament so far in All-Stars and it has been a lot of fun for the girls and parents. The girls are learning and having fun which is a bonus to 3-nights a week of practice. Kennedy's coaches are GREAT and the head coach is a father to five girls, four of which are quadruplets. Did I say he is amazing?!?!

The schedule sounds hectic but it has worked out good with our schedules. Jeremy has done practice duty and we have had to split ways some for tournaments due to his team still playing. This past weekend Kennedy's Spanish teacher, Mrs. Castaneda,  from school came to cheer her on. This is just another reason as to why we love her so much---she is AMAZING!

This next weekend we will head to New Caney for a tournament and the Montgomery Bears will take on Nederland Friday and Saturday to fight for the Regional Quarter Finals title.  GO BEARS and GO LIGHTNING!!!!

Melts My Heart

Mother's Day

Jaxon was so proud of his potted plant that he gave me. His thumbprints cover the pot making flowers and his sweet hands planted the pretty flower in it.
Kennedy and Jaxon picked flowers from our rose garden Sunday--prettier than store bought flowers any day!

What I know about my mom--Kennedy
I love weight estimation and I do like salad....for those of you who
don't know that is one of Kennedy's favorite foods

BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE

Life is Good

Happy Mother's Day!! We are blessed by the mother's in our lives--MaMa, Granny, Great-Grannie, aunts and all of those who are called mom. Being called mom is a gift never to be forsaken. There are ups and downs in motherhood and I wouldn't trade either. The downs make me stronger and teach a life lesson and the ups keep a smile on my face. Thank you Kennedy and Jaxon for blessing my life every minute of the day!!

All-Stars Montgomery Ligthning

Our All-Star run has started and we faired pretty well this weekend. Initially the girls were supposed to play in Humble. There were seven 6U teams registered for the tournament  but no other divisions so it was cancelled:( so we moved some make shift games to our ball park.

Kennedy is the starting second baseman and has done a good job defensively. We can't wait to see the season unfold and watch these girls grow.

No Laughing Please................

I grew up with a garden.....did I ever help plant a thing or learn from my grandpa or my dad during all those years? The answer is NO! I shelled plenty of green beans in life and enjoyed the benefit of garden but never planted one. Jeremy and I after 12 years of marriage decided to dive in and see how green our thumb was. We planted green beans, jalapenos, squash, eggplant, watermelon, herbs, and tomatoes. The kids have loved and so have we so that means this 5x5 box will grow come June:)!

Afternoon at the Park

Kennedy had her first scrimmage for All-Stars this past Saturday and we decided to picnic at the park. I LOVE this time of year! Perfect for full day outdoors, a good run and barbecuing with friends.
