Road Trip

We went back and forth whether to stay in Dallas this weekend or just drive there and back all in one day to enjoy some down time at home. Reagan's party was a blast and we survived 7 hours in the car with 2 children ages three and five months. You know that you have been traveling way too long when:
You listen to the 20th tag reader story
Your husband is singing the theme song to "Super Why" (and you would only know this song if you have small children:))
Your daughter tells you the moon is shaking and you look back to see her shaking her head side-to-side
You stop at a rest stop to throw out diapers and trash

Jeremy and I just laughed to each other discussing the trip. We were all fast asleep once we made it home. Memories......

Happy Birthday Reagan!

August is always full of birthday fun. Each year we celebrate 3 consecutive weekends for Avery & Austin, Kennedy, and Reagan. This year Reagan celebrated #3 with a gymnastics party! The crew had lots of fun! I was jealous that I couldn't jump in the foam pit! Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! If we only lived closer....

Little Man

Jaxon is now 5 1/2 months!
He is getting so big and it seems
so fast! He is sitting up on his
own now. He loves to play, flash
his sweet smile at you, and
loves his sweets!
Yum Sweet Potatoes!

He now has his two bottom teeth. You can see the white sparkle in this picture. Both of our kids got there teeth early! Gotta love the hair--I spike it, and sometimes in a mohawk to go with natural direction of his hair. What a sweet boy!!

Kennedy is Three!

Kennedy turned 3 August 21st! We celebrated with family and friends this past weekend "princess style". She has been so excited about her big number 3 and had a blast. When it was all over she looked at us and said, "I want to do this b-day again!" Most of the pics are party day fun and check out the one of miss priss playing dress-up. It is hard to believe that our baby is three.

Party Fun

It's party time! Here are some party pics. Kennedy actually took a long intermission during gift opening after getting dinosaurs. The girl has a fasination with them and we are uncertain how that all came about.

Birthday Sweets, Yum

Kennedy posing with her cake! Mom made one for me when I was little, so it was extra special when she made one for Kennedy. Kennedy had nothing but sugar the whole night! I caught her licking all the icing off a cupcake and dumping the rest in the nearest trash.
