Montgomery Warriors

Kennedy was asked to play on a select softball team over the summer. We processed it a bit and she was on board so decided to give it a go. The team is a make-up of past all-star team players and girls/families that we know based out of Montomery. The girls practiced over the summer and started having tournaments this fall.  We have had 1-2 tournaments each month and will travel to Beaumont for our last fall tournament. Kennedy is liking it and we are surviving the 2 nights a week of practice. She plays center field, 2nd and some catcher. And it begins...................

So Independent

 With the first month of school almost behind us, I can reflect and say I am so proud of these two. New schedules, after school activities and a busy work schedule for momma and daddy and they are taking things in stride. Kennedy is in second grade and doing awesome. She continues her Dual Language program and by next year will be completing all of her Language Arts and Writing curriculum in spanish and english. Jaxon is LOVING kindergarten and is also in the Dual Language program. He is coming home talking spanish already..thank goodness for my spanish translator app! We are loving school but are looking forward to Christmas break and a first time ski trip for the big kiddos!



Carter

And Carter...this guy will flash a smile at anyone, jumps right in and is a go-getter.   Carter at 9 months has 4 teeth, crawls everyone and is standing on his own. He has taken quite a few tumbles and has bruises on his forehead to show off his independence.  He loves to grunt or growl in disagreement and likes hearing his own voice...both boys do especially in the middle of church service:)

Each month they switch personalities and seem even more different.  To me they look so different at this point, but so many others still can't tell them apart. All I can say is our hands are busy and are hearts are full!



Grant

The boys are developing their own personalities.  Grant is a sweetheart, plain and simple. He is more reserved, yet determined and will be the first to sit and examine things before jumping in. This little guy is getting three teeth at once but you'd never know it. At 9 months he has 5 teeth, is a speed crawling, pulling up to stand and loves to babble. He has also turned into a "momma's boy". Until now the boys have played together and on their own without much need for someone to sit right there. Grant doesn't sit but comes to find me now and waves his arms and down to let me know that he want to be held.

We are blessed with two amazing sets of grandparents!!! We thank the good Lord for them daily! 

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day we got to hang out with MaMa and Papa, BBQ and get in some crafts and a friendly game of backyard baseball. MaMa and Kennedy worked on the perfect sewing project for them that mommy had put off, Jaxon got to play some intensive baseball and argue some call and the Grant and Carter got in some extra snuggles with gparents. Despite my wanting to get some good photos of all the kids, I missed Jaxon and Grant with MaMa. Jaxon was so busy playing baseball and arguing that he was not out that I missed it:)!
