This past Thursday we headed for our girl's scrapbook retreat. This weekend was quite busy for our family with daddy having a tournament in San Marcos, cousin Caleb's birthday, Kennedy having her 1st sleepover away with cousin Avery, and the scrap retreat booked months ago. A "scrapbook" retreat may not sound so enticing to others but it has become a relaxing hobby for me. I love to create books of my children and family events. We enjoyed good company, drinks, dinner out, late nights with the ability to sleep in, and an awesome massage. Jaxon may have a 1st year baby book by his next late birthday!

We want to say thank you to my dad who kept the kids Friday and Saturday. Mom headed out for a special event as well. With the offer of having Kennedy over Friday from the Maurer Party of 5 on Friday it all worked out. Dad handled both kids at the birthday party and got to love on them all weekend. Have I ever said how great he is?!?!
