We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge and the pictures taken from my iphone due no justice. We enjoyed the luxury of an indoor-outdoor water park along with treasure hunts, great food and themed-lodge activities. We had never been and will definitely go back. It is great place to go for the weekend and this summer our trip have been many but short with the little ones. 

Legoland

On our way to Great Wolf Lodge we stopped off down the road at Legoland. It was a ton of fun for the kids and especially for the boys. Jaxon was in heaven! It is a must do if you have boys!

Happy Anniversary Honey!

Where has time gone? 13 years ago we stood in front of God, our family and friends and said "I do!"  Reflecting on the past 13 years I can say I would not have changed anything about that day, our life then and our life now. At the age of 23 as "high school sweet hearts" and now at 36 our lives are different. Friends of the past are not all the same friends we have now and our families have  changed and grown.  The one thing that has stayed the same is what makes us "us".  We together have made each other what we are today, we have stood beside each other through life's obstacles and grown stronger. I am blessed to call this man my best friend, hubby and father to our children. I can't wait to see what the next 13 years bring!! 

Summer Fun

MacKenzie came up a couple weeks ago and the kids enjoyed

10 Phrases in 30 Seconds to Describe Each Boy ......GO!!

 

Carter-smiley, loves to be held, eater, would rather watch then sleep, social butterfly, flirt, growls/squeals, loves to laugh, grabber, likes to play

 

Grant-cuddle bunny, independent, smiley, loves to jump, easy to soothe self/sleep, strong, loves his feet and anyway he can get them to his mouth, drinker (prefers liquids over solids), usually always happy, laid back

 

Both boys are sitting and will be crawling soon. Carter sat before Grant by about a week but my bets are on Grant to crawl 1st. Grant pulls his little legs up and tries to bear weight to his arms.  Carter attempts it occassionally and then gives me the look..."Mom this is too much work!"

 

They are similar in many ways and so vastly different! It is busy in the Schramm household but we wouldn't want it any other way.

 

I Got It

Kennedy's "had" her backhand spring for a couple months but it has taken her until to get the courage to do it on her own. Actually on July 4th we were playing on the trampoline and she decided to do it on her own. Here it is!

Upstairs Progress

This means the boys will have a room, we will add almost 1000 square feet to the house and the kids will get a nice play area!
