Go Lakers, Last Game

Kennedy is loving basketball. She says her favorite part is shooting the ball into the goal. She is playing with one of her friends and we all have enjoyed the experience. She plays her last game this Friday and will start T-ball in April. She is excited to play "baseball" like Daddy coaches.

Talk about a FUN PARTY.....ALL-GIRL STYLE!! We experienced our first sweet & sassy birthday party this weekend. These girls were in a princess dream world. They had their hair and nails done, dressed-up princess style, and ended the party with sweet treats and a ride in a limo.

Move-in.....April???

Each day our future home is changing and it is very exciting! I took these photos today. The stone is done on the outside and all we have left is shutters and a front door to pick out. The dormers are covered with paper to prevent paint from getting on the windows so it is difficult to see the overall picture.

Be a Belle Clinic 2010

Kennedy finally got to do her "Be a Belle" performance last week Tuesday. With all the crazy weather it kept getting postponed, but it was all worth the wait. The kids were troopers with the late night and we even had MaMa and PaPa come in to watch.

These are house pictures from this past week Tuesday! It is looking so great! Unbelievable...someone has to pinch me every once in awhile.

We are working on shutter colors / stains. There will be shutters around the windows and in front of the tiny window where the kids bathroom is above.

Ladies Night

About three months ago some great friends from the kid's school decided to get together and the fun hasn't stopped. These ladies are one of a kind and such an amazing blessing in my life!! As a woman, wife, and mom this is a one night a month getaway to spend time with friends talking about whatever needs to be discussed. Yes, as our kids will leave the day school and we will miss our daily meetings, but we will have our night out and always have each other to call whatever may arise. Love you ladies!

Stone Going UP

Our stone is going up....as of last week Sunday Februay 13th this was the progress. We wanted stone and it is pretty neat to watch the process. The masonry is cutting the stone on sight and creating what you see below. Painting and a roof should be up by the next house posting.

Happy Birthday Daddy

It is birthdays that give us a chance to celebrate the ones we love. My dad is simply amazing. He is all the things a dad should be and means the world to us. He has supported me and our family in every endeavor we have chosen, loves us unconditionally, and is one amazing grandparent. I have always appreciated my parents, but I didn't come to understand what it truly means to be a parent until I myself became one. In this journey as a parent I have come to appreciate him even more. I wouldn't trade our almost daily conversations, his advice (hard to admit sometimes that he is right 99.9%) of the time, and his willingness to help with our children with any and every phone call. Dad we wish you the best birthday and so many more!!!!

The kids opened the last little gifts this evening from us after we had our Valentines meal of hot dogs. We never eat hot dogs and Kennedy actually asked who made them! The simple things in life.......Happy Valentines Day!
