Day 2--Excitement Before Breakfast

Tuesday morning was filled with quite the adventure BEFORE breakfast!! We sat down for our 3 course breakfast fill ready to discuss our plans for our first full day on the ship when Jaxon announces he has to go to the bathroom. He went, Jeremy follows and on the way out of the  bathroom in a sprint to make it back to the dining area he fell and hit these lovely stairs splinting his forehead open. So we head to the Medical Center on the boat on the way on to Level 0 which felt like an eternity. He ended getting a shot with the longest needle I have seen in awhile to deaden the area and 3 stitches. The medical staff was great and didn't charge us a dime which was even better.

A picture of the wounded patient after his traumatic experience. The poor guy cried of course when they stuck him with the needle. As the doctor stitched him up we had his eyes covered to deter him from the sight of the needle or stitches. He had conversations about his baby brothers, the Bear Baseball team and how much he loved being on the big boat.

Jaxon and his doctor-they met up after our excursion to the Mayan Ruins
and the doc's tennis match
