Pumpkin Carving

This past Thursday we finally got to carve our pumpkin. I always turn this over to Daddy as getting all gooey is not so inviting to mommy. The kids, well Kennedy, enjoyed the process and Jaxon tried to help but wasn't much help after all.

Kennedy is doing a dance to the Ghostbuster's Song at Christmas...yes I know, this should all be interesting. The kids had fun entertaining MaMa and Mommy the other night.

Hello My Name is Earl

The one downfall to the move is that we still have not gotten internet connection due to the internet providers mix up. Tonight I find myself standing on a lawn chair to get a connection to an unsecured wireless. Come on Friday....internet will be here!

Watch Out for the DEER

Jeremy called me last week Wednesday as we drove up to our new "home" to let me know that deer were in the lot next door. Needless to say the kids have loved every moment of this. We are blessed with awesome landlords and a great place to live while we make arrangements to build our next home.

It's Moving Day

Moving for us started last Wednesday when Uncle Doug, Dad, Stephen, and Jeremy made many a trip from Point A to Walden. They managed to get all the big furniture in and thank goodness for them!!! The second crew came (thank you Chris, Shawn, Cole, Coach Payne) in Saturday to help move. I actually got some pictures of them happily cleaning out the attic.

Thank you so much to everyone that helped, offered help, and that have helped us through this process. Don't forget about Round #2:).

Tuesday Night Football

We made it to one of Daddy's last home games. The kids got to meet the Bear and between them yelling "Daddy" and "Bear" I was ready to get home. They loved it!

Prayers for Granny

We are asking that everyone please keep Granny in your prayers. She is on the road to recovery and we ask that you please keep her in your thoughts.

Soccer, My Friend Cooper

Cooper came to visit Kennedy at her game this weekend. She was very intuned to him standing on the sideline and would stop every chance she could to say hello.

Good Old Fashion Hay Ride

We made it to the 2nd Annual Maurer Hayride this past weekend! The kids enjoyed it, however, at one point I think may have been more content on the ground as he could not get to the cows, horses, and dogs we passed making he a little upset. Thanks for a great time Maurer Party of Five:)

A Busy Week

This past week has been fast and furious for the Schramm Clan. We close on our house Oct 28th and will begin the process of building our new home. This past week has been filled with lots of packing, reorganizing, and memories. We have lived in this home for seven years, brought both of children home here, and now we are planning to build "our home" in Montgomery. Kennedy helped us get packed up while Jaxon enjoyed some one-on-one time with MaMa and PaPa. We are excited about this time in our lives. We will keep your posted on our adventure!

Beauty 101

The new do is quite fashionable! Poor Kennedy looks so tired her...she ended up getting a little virus to follow, should have known. Her dark circles always mean sickness is near.

I'm the Goalie

Kennedy got to try out the position of "goalie" this weekend. During the second half she made it to the goal and seemed to like it. A couple of times she watched the ball roll in and then other times she stopped the ball. It is so nice to watch her play just having fun, doesn't matter who wins, she just sits back and has a great time.....wish life was always like that!

MaMa and PaPa came up for the game too! Fan-favorites!

This Will Make You SMILE

The kids are so fun right now (always) but this age is fun watching them play together. Jaxon is not so easy-going as he was and he has an opinion now when sister tells him to do something.

Cookie Time

We had some left over cookies this past week from when MaMa came to visit and we finished them off. The kids enjoyed the afternoon making cookies and enjoying playing outside. It has been so beautiful lately!!

Bath Time is Still Fun

Bathing the two kids together makes things quick but not always so easy. Kennedy likes to "float" in the tub and then you add Jaxon to the mix which includes belly flopping, pouring water out of the tub, and antagonizing his sister.

He is really starting to push her buttons and not so discretely. He goes to give her a "love pat" (hitting, poking) and then looks rights at us. Last week I moved his car seat for a peaceful ride home. He would sit beside her and reach for her or poke her. This led to tears and Jaxon going for more. I secretly was laughing in the front seat and thinking this is only the begining. I did feel reassured and so proud when Kennedy told her Sunday School class that "Jaxon is her best friend." What a fun time!!

This weekend we had a special visit from Granny and PoPo. Jaxon got to play soccer on the sidelines which made him so very happy!

Couldn't Resist

Yes I have already blogged about Kennedy starting soccer, but when each Saturday comes around I cannot help but smile. Between occassionally soccer kicks, goals, picking grass, there is this......hand holding. Kennedy loves Brooklyn. Get ready for soccer updates until the end of the season November 13th.
