Upwards Basketball and TOTS

Jaxon can play a competitive game of basketball. So far his team has one loss and he is definitely keeping record. He led the team in baskets last week making 8 of the 10 baskets. This kid is unstoppable. Upwards is a great program and it is our first year to play. It is a Christian-based program. Each game at half-time they have an entire gym devotional. It is a pretty neat experience for kids and parents alike. 

Kennedy has been active in TOTS, Teams of Tomorrow. It is a program offered at her school once a week and the students are able to perform and local events and with the Harlem Globetrotters over a 2 month period. She has really enjoyed it!

Taking Turns....kind of

The boys are 13 months now!!! They keep us going and are so much fun at this age! It's like herding cattle to some extend. We close off all the doors to bedrooms and then they just go to town. They both come walking and yelling "MaMa or DaDa".  They are learning that their words mean something and use them frequently. They of course love their big brother and sister and bring balls to them all the time to play a game of catch.

Texas State Tournamnet

Over the past couple of months these girls have worked so hard and have made so many gains as a team. A couple of months ago we were eliminated mid-way through tournaments and now we are playing in the final four. The Warriors placed 4th of 14 teams at the state tournament this past weekend. Kennedy was moved to lead off hitter and had 2 home runs with some big hits in the game.

Blessed beyond measure doesn't even begin to describe our love and gratitude toward this man. When my kids looks back on their childhood they will remember their Dad being involved at school, in sports and in their spiritual life. We are blessed to have a man in our lives that puts his family first. We love you to the moon and back babe! Happy happy birthday!!

We were able to go on this trip because we had amazing help with the boys! We are blessed to be able to do things with the big kids and enjoy some time with them. Grant and Carter got some extra loving without a doubt at MaMa and PaPa's.
