Loving 1st Grade

Kennedy is LOVING 1st grade!!! She is taking it in stride. She is in Dual Language again this year and has Mrs. Short and Ms. Garcia. We are excited to see what this year will bring!! 

Swim Awards

Every year the day before school starts we have our April Sound swim ceremony. Kennedy got her ribbons had ice cream with friends and is ready to start swim again! She loves it!!

Party ALL Day

On Kennedy's birthday we made a special trip with two of our best buddies to American Girl in Houston. 

These girl's celebrated like queens and had such a good time!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

We ended the evening with a special visit from MaMa and PaPa.

Kennedy was treated to her favorite food....Mexican.

PreK Success

Get out the box of tissues......our little man started PreK this week!!  He walked in like he owned the place. He was full of confidence, consoling crying friends, smiling from ear-to-ear and ready to get his day started. He is attending PreK at Grace Lutheran School. We are blessed to have wonderful teachers that will continue his growth in Christ and his academics. We are so excited to share in his successes and to watch him grow this year.

Happy 7th birthday to our beautiful, sweet baby girl!  We are blessed to call you our daughter. It has been an amazing 7 years and we are blessed to be on this life journey with you. Happy, happy day to you!!!!

Friend-Class Party, GLOW STYLE

in the dark with their glow necklaces on. They had a blast!

Kennedy celebrated with her classmates, old softball friends and neighbors this past Sunday. We tried out the "Glow" Party and it was fun on all levels. The kids played in the dark and loved it---what kid doesn't like that? Fun was had by all and I have a feeling this will be requested again soon. We are blessed by a family unit away from home and are so thankful for that!

TWIN Update

So Amazing!!!

We are 19 weeks 4 days today.....officially past the half way point. The boys are doing well and growing as expected. We had our in-depth anatomy and internal organ ultrasound today which took two hours to complete and assesses brain, heart, kidney, and fluid levels etc.  It truly was amazing to watch the ultrasound and to watch these little blessings move around. Baby A is breech and has been a little more unwilling to cooperate. For a couple weeks we thought he was a she but were reassured with the ultrasound today that we are having two baby boys. At one point the technician says, "I can't see his face because his brother is laying on top of him" and he hadn't been until we tried to capture the picture........and so it begins. Baby B has been a willing participant from the beginning and in the right position for ultrasounds.

 

This pregnancy is different than my other two in that I could feel the babies moving at 13 weeks partly because I knew what it felt like and because there are two little ones in there. Everything up to this point has been "easy", no issues to report and the same as the previous two except I am much bigger. Come November and December just be sure to get out of my way because I am certain I won't be seeing much of anything. Thank you for the continued prayers. We are eager to meet our little blessings and I know their big sister and brother can hardly wait.
