The Bombshells...The Blonde Bombshell

It is that time of year again and not one but three of my people are playing ball.     Jeremy's season has been underway since the end of January. The Bears have a long trail ahead of them but are up for the challenge. We are picked 5th in state this year which is an awesome compliment. 

Jaxon......oh jaxon! He is LOVING baseball and if you want to smile from ear-to-ear come watch him play. I love this age! He even got "black-eye" stickers for Valentines day to wear during his game. Yes, most kids would toss it to the side but not this guy he brought them to school to show everyone and then proceeded to dump all 20 soft-toss balls into his backpack when mommy was looking!!

Kennedy likes softball and she is pretty good at it. She likes everything....don't know where she gets that from:)! She is every coaches dream....she listens, there is always a yes  mam or sir out of her mouth and she is having fun! Now mommy has to juggle the three schedules and I can say so far it hasn't been too bad.

 We celebrated a very special birthday this past week--PaPa turned the big 6-0! He celebrated in style and took it in stride.....as we would expect no less than that with this man. We are blessed by him beyond measure. He has taught us about family, trusting in God, setting priorities, how to enjoy life and the best part is we get to enjoy it with him. He is a hands on grandpa and that is one of the things I admire about him most. I always knew how awesome he was but to watch my kids faces light up when they say the "PaPa" is heart warming. We wish you many more years filled with memories and family!

Valentines Day 2013

Our Valentines day was spent going to class parties and a special meal out.  The best was part was being asked about 1oo times "Mommy/Daddy will you be my Valentine".  Jeremy went to Kennedy's party and I tell you these kindergartens know how to P-A-R-T-Y. They had loaded pancakes and valentines.  Jaxon has a great day at school too (pictures to come). He enjoyed sundaes and was so pumped about every Valentine he got. We went through his bag at least five times as he showed off his goodies.  Every day--even on those  days when I think I should pull my hair out--I am reminded how blessed we are to have healthy beautiful children. What a blessing! That is the best Valentine of all!

Gifted and Talented

We wanted to share that Kennedy was asked to test for the gifted and talented program at her school.  It was quite an honor..4 students out of 22 were asked to test. We don't know that she will test into the program but it was a great honor to be asked.

My 1st Official Baseball Practice

Talk about EXCITED----this little boy has his first official tee-ball practice this past Saturday. We practically live at the baseball park and he has watched Kennedy play over the years so now that it is his turn he can't contain himself.  

He will be playing for the Mets this season and we will keep you posted as the season progresses.

This boy loves to dress up as any and every super hero! He is in his "suits" all the time. I am sure the neighbors get a good laugh!

What I Take to Bed

Jaxon has a bedtime "routine" as do most young children. However, after you put everything in his bed that he normally sleeps with you begin to wonder how he fits in his bed and how he ever gets sleep. We have had to say "no" to adding anything else.  

The things I take to bed--my baby blanket, MaMa's baseball blanket, dream-lite, Simba, flashlight, sippy cup, two pillows, and IF he has a new toy he attempts to slide that in too! We love this boy to heaven and back and he keeps us on our toes but that's okay because we need a little challenge!
