Who Wouldn't Love This?!!?!
We take pictures family pictures once a year and kid photos on birthdays. This was at Kennedy's 5th birthday shoot. Jaxon kept telling me "Momma I want the blue one and pointed to Kennedy." Blue means maroon and Kennedy got an awesome A&M shirt from Doug, Dorothy and Kelcie and he wore her shirt in his pictures. Neither one of us went to A&M, nor do we "bleed" a certain color except purple for the Bears around here, so College Station sounds great to mommy, nice and close to home!

Chillin' at Home
We have two more weekends at home until soccer starts. We have enjoyed the weather and our new home. There is plenty to do with unpacking and repacking, but we are doing our best to not let this get the best of us. We spent alot of time in our Jammie's this weekend, colored, painted, got dirty, laughed alot, enjoyed a visit from MaMa and PaPa, and enjoyed just being at home. Our weeks are full with dance, gymnastics, and now our 1st soccer practice this Tuesday!

1st Spelling Bee
Kennedy loves TK! She is changing and growing socially and academically. It is amazing to me how much she is learning. Jeremy and I both as a teacher and therapist push her positively all the time and want her to learn about success, failure, and have the confidence to do anything that she wants to do. This week she was one of the top three in her spelling bee:) I don't remember learning my vowels or spelling at 5!
Can you tell she is proud?

Happy Birthday Logan
Logan's 2nd birthday was a hit in our books. What kid wouldn't love a petting zoo and pony rides? Logan is I would say Jaxon's "best friend"...whatever that constitutes at 2 years of age. He loves Logan and was so excited to celebrate with him at his birthday.
Jaxon and "Bambi' at least that is what he said |

Karaoke
Saturday we went to dinner and did a little karaoke at Fajita Jacks. Not I......but the kids and Tiffani. The Schramm Clan finally got to meet Mr. Keith......what a great guy! We have been blessed to have some incredible friends and I can add the Price Family to the list.

1st Friday Night Game
Our first Friday night game. We met the Gary's at Rancho and had some Mexican food and headed to the game for a HUGE bear VICTORY!!!
Busy Schedules
I can admit that I do like hanging out at home and enjoy my three day weekends....that soon will all come to a stop. With the beginning of the school years starts Tuesday 5:15 gymastics class, Thursday dance class (which is at Kennedy's school whew:)), and Saturday morning soccer which starts up next Saturday.
Kennedy LOVES school and has her 1st Spelling B in one week---the colors- green, blue, purple, yellow, pink, orange, brown, black, white, and numbers--1 to 10. I don't remember learning that at 5! She is so excited and we are loving to watch her blossom and grow socially, academically, and spiritually.

Daddy's First Game
Getting a Ride from Mr. Jess Coachs Kid Perk |
It's game day YA'LL! Daddy's season officially started this past week with a scrimmage. The kids, and I, can admit that I enjoy football season....the night lights, time with friends, watching kids learn what TEAM means, and being apart of what Jeremy loves.

Meet Dollie and Chloe

Yes there are cats.......and TWO of them! Kennedy has been asking for a cat for awhile now and we decided that this weekend was the time to grant the wish. We did find out that it was National Pet Adoption this weekend. We went looking for one cat at the animal shelter and at a good price:). I grew up having a at that happened to find our home and make it his or her own.
So, we get to the animal shelter and there are animals everywhere, most of which had been fostered in a home already looking for the perfect adoptive home. They offered us one cat for $65, then 2 for $100. A quick "no" for 2, then a deal we couldn't pass up....2 for $65 spayed and all shots complete. It was so funny when the women holding the cats gave one to me to hold and asked Jeremy if he wanted to hold one, and he polite said "no!" and then took it.
In the end we came home with DOLLIE and CHLOE who each had a couple of name changes by the end of Saturday. We are working to have them outdoors. They have slept in the comfort of the utility room and have been so good. We took them outdoors Sunday and they cried to get in the house.....not a good sign, and after lounging out back we moved to the porta coche in which they jumped in my car by the engine and sat:). I am not sure what we have gotten ourselves into......the kids are in HEAVEN and the cats have been GOOD but they will be better outside in a couple of days.

Fun with Friends
We had the Carr's over Sunday after our household had mended from a nasty virus. The best thing about being in our new home is entertaining which we like to do. We enjoyed dinner, drinks, and the kids had lots of play time. Thank God for great friends!

And the WORK Begins
So the work has begun! We, Jeremy:), is beginning to tackle the outdoor work at the house. We had 3 loads of dirt brought in and our neighbor let us borrow his small tractor so that Jeremy could smooth it all out. He spent most of Saturday outdoors and the kids loved riding with daddy.
