She has asked and asked for a pink radio and a special package arrived in the mail a couple of days ago. She dances every night to it and sings the tunes.

My Big Wish

It is hard to imagine this little angel blew out seven candles!!! We remember her blowing out 1 candle. She is growing into little "big" girl--full of life, smart, sweet, a good sister and daughter. They say time flies and it is very true....all we can do is try to savor every moment!

It's Time to CELEBRATE

Kennedy started her birthday celebrations a little early this year, which I kind of liked and she LOVED because she gets a month of birthday celebrations. We had our family party Saturday which is a large group and then our friends that are our family away from "home".  

15-minutes before party time we had a minor glitch ---no water!! Lightening hit a main line causing a water delay of 4 hours! This didn't stop the party--a little rain and the kids played on the water slide and swam in our neighbors pool.  The party went on without a hitch. The big girl celebrating her 7th birthday had no clue we didn't have water. 

The theme of the party was  created by Kennedy--she requested a kitty cat with Tiger on top. It turned out adorable!!! 

Can We Lose Anymore?!?!

I know Kennedy has more teeth to lose but geez--this kid is on her seventh tooth. She did make one small request this time to the tooth fairy and that was to keep her tooth! Her wish was granted and she got two dollars--pretty good deal!!

A Weekend of FUN

This past weekend we headed to Galveston for one last weekend of summer fun. It is amazing how the the calendar fills up and we aren't even into the all the kids extracurricular activities yet. We spent the weekend at the beach, pool, saw Smurfs II, had dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe and took the kids by mommy' s college.  We had so much fun with just "us" and were sad to see the weekend end.
