Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! A little history..........Valentines day is a holiday observed on February 14 honoring one or more early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. It was first established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD, and was later deleted from the General Roman Calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI.

The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.


Enjoy the day with the ones you love the most! I am thankful for my sweetest valentine and my little valentines. On Valentines I am reminded of those that I love and care for most.

The Brewers

Kennedy started T-ball officially last 2 weeks ago. Practices have started out slow because of the weather but they are heating up and she is too!!! She is playing MLL, Montgomery Little League this year. She played at the YMCA last year and we had a great experience and daddy coached. This year we are trying to play closer to home and the fields are less than 5 miles from the house. We will keep you posted on her games and fun to come!

A Different Kind of Dress-Up

You DID It!!

Our little Jaxon will be turning 3 in less than a month!!!!! I truly cannot tell you where the time has gone.  I had to post this because he is diligently working on potty training. He is doing really well except form#2. I never thought I would blog about potty training or the above, but this is post worthy.

Jaxon's teachers have been working on him using #2 in the potty and he says, "I go tee-tee, Cade (his friend) goes poop." Literally...this is what the kid meant and did. A couple of weeks ago, Jaxon did his deed in the potty and received this certificate for "potty." He did his business and then ran directly out of the classroom with his teacher behind him to Kennedy's T-K class. When he made it to the classroom, he runs to Kennedy and yells in front of the class (and if you know Jaxon his voice is deep and LOUD), "Key, I POOPED in the potty!!!" She of course gave him a big hug and told him she was so proud of him, being the good big sister that she is! Since January he has made strides in being fully potty trained. In his defense, we are not working as hard with him in this area and my hopes is by the age of 3 he will get it, and if not he will be potty trained before he starts college.

This past Sunday Kennedy lost tooth #3

This is the third tooth that Kennedy has lost in a matter of 1 and a half months. We didn't know about this loose one. Kennedy said, "My tooth hurts", we saw blood, and with one yank it was out! This little girl is breaking the bank fast!
