Long Over Due

The Schramm Clan has been going nonstop since the end of April.  We are enjoying Jeremy's baseball play-offs, Kennedy's T-ball games, and just being in many places over the weekend.  I can admit knowing an end is near makes my heart a bit happy and the thought of relaxation and just enjoying each other at home makes me even happier.

Speaking of our home...they have started all the cabinetry work in our house and we are picking out paint colors.  I have never been the trendy one or even the one to have that "eye" so I have called in a couple friends that are great with interior design to give me a LOT of pointers. We will post pictures very soon to show the progress .

The photos above are from March when little man turned two. I think about him and a huge smile comes to my face. He is amazing, a hand-full, loving, fast and furious, and sweet all wrapped into one little boy.  He will go potty in the "big boy potty" and is ready to be in underwear. After having one kid, I feel pull-ups are somewhat overrated...diaper/pull-ups are they really that different?  This summer we will be at home quite a bit and having access to a potty will be helpful and convenient to complete this task.

Kennedy is doing great! She graduated Pre-K last week and I have pictures to post soon. Her teacher picked the word "virtue" for her graduation word and I will speak more on that later. Kennedy amazes me everyday in her kindness, determination, brilliance, and her persistence on doing what she knows is right (thank you Lord)!  She has really learned so much about being a good friend and talks about doing things that God wants her to do or that she knows is right.  I fell off the crazy wagon last Saturday and took Kennedy, a friend, and Jaxon (his 1st movie) to the cinema. In the car, Kennedy's friend said either "bottom" or maybe even "butt" and she turns around serious as could be and told her little friend "we do no say that".  I can admit I was smiling!

Area Champs

Kennedy and her best pal Kinsley

My thoughts exactly.....stinker written all over this face!!!

This is what happens when Daddy's games go to 13 inning.
Kennedy held on strong til 11:30. Now Jaxon was a different story.
He was on the field at 12:01 am with his helmet and bat in hand.

Our last round of baseball was amazing!! We lost game one Friday night in the 13th inning at midnight. Yes, our team has made a haul of these 11 to 13 inning games lately, but we are not complaining.  So we lost Friday, won game two Saturday, and won game three on Saturday.  If you could have only been in the stands and to watch our team. After watching them play and the excitement that I felt, I was brought back to our days of competitive play.  What an awesome opportunity to learn about team first and what it means to be a team member!

Some people ask, how do you go the field again and again......"the coach's wife."  The answer is that 95% of the time I love it and our kids for sure love it! You have a family away from family and those that become family.  We start round three this next Thursday and Saturday and we will keep you updated on our successes!

A Last Minute Play Date

Last week we picked up Adelyn and brought her home to play with us until sister Avery was finished with dance pictures. The girls had so much fun together. It is nice to be able to get things done around the house while they played together----so well, sweet girls!

Bi-District Champs

The Bears had a great 1st round of play-offs. They clenched Bi-District and we move on this next weekend to play LCM.  We won our game  Thursday, played a 13 inning game Friday and ended with a loss at 11:30 pm, and finished strong Saturday with a win.  We LOVE play-offs.
