After a half day of work I got to join my family in the HOT outdoors on Memorial Day. Jeremy picked the kids up a pool that we could use anytime and we have already used it 3 times this past weekend. We have enjoyed having the two pools in our subdivision, but it still entails loading everyone up. It was nice to enjoy some BBQ and playtime in the water. We laughed and named our new play toy the "Red Neck" pool when we all four were in it (and you will see no pictures of this). The kids laughed to see mommy and daddy in the pool and we in turn were appreciative of the cold water. Most importantly, thank you to all the men and women who have fought to give us the freedom...to enjoy a safe and memorable day. We said an extra prayer for you this Memorial Day.

An "Awe" Moment
This past weekend we began our first spirt of graduation parties, enjoyed a great birthday party, and enjoyed some much needed down time. I took these pictures Saturday right after dinner. The kids were "loving" on each other and hamming it up..perfect for some pictures that I never get when they are all dressed up!

Snip It's
Saturday I took the kids to the mall while Jeremy helped some friends move into their new home. I was hesitant about going solo, but figured we could make a short trip. Kennedy got her hair cut at a "kid's salon" in the mail. It was fun and something we will only do as a treat every once in awhile. They had TV's and a ticket that you could use at the end to receive a surprise. She had a fun morning... a new hair-do with sparkles (that was the coolest part if you ask her), a trip to the Disney store, and new Tinker Bell swim suit.

End of School Year Parties
Kennedy and Jaxon had their end of school year parties this past week. They will continue through the summer as a "Blue Bird" and "Wobbler" and will be starting new classes in the fall. End of school year parties are always fun and welcome fun party themes and excitement.

The teachers in Jaxon's class also nominated the kids for certain things. I completely missed the posting on the door and Jeremy filled me in the other day. I had to laugh and you will too! I would like to introduce to you the student with the "coolest hair" and "Mr. Wobbler". They had a "Mr. and Miss Wobbler" and Jaxon was the Mr. Wobbler (too funny). I asked his teacher if he received that nomination because he magnifies the word "wobbler" and she just laughed, "we love him!"
