Astros Vs Yankees

Last Sunday Kennedy and Jaxon took a trip with Daddy to the Astro's game. They were so excited to go!!! Jaxon has been to the game with Jeremy but Kennedy had not been since she was about 2 years old.  We were given some AWESOME tickets and took full advantage of everything Minute Maid had to offer.

Kennedy actually got a game ball too. Elmore was running off the field and pointed to her, threw the ball to Jeremy and pointed back to her as if to say "you better give her the ball!" Jeremy was more excited than the kiddos to get the ball. They loved it!!

Galaxy and Earthquakes

Our Saturdays are full with soccer! Blessed that the field is 3 minutes from the house minus our 3 away games. The kids did great! Jaxon scored 9 goals in his two games and was so excited about that. Kennedy did great in her defense position! She is playing in a 7U league and they play 2nd and 3rd graders predominantly. They are having fun and keeping us busy! Go Galaxy and Earthquakes!

Our Team is RED HOT

Kennedy is playing fall softball and loving it!! We started our season last  week with a three game series and although we spent many nights at the ball park she was loving it and did great. This year she is playing 8U due to her birthday which means she plays with 1-3rd graders. This little girl inherited some eye-hand coordination and I don't believe it was from her momma! She is 6 for 8 at the plate and has some wheels---go little RED HOT!

Carter and Grant

The boys are facing each other in this picture.
The big circles are their heads.

4D Ultrasound Picture

They attempted to get profile picture of their faces
but Baby B had is arm around his brother.

We have good news to report. The boys are growing and the doctor seemed to be happy with their report. Baby A was 15 ounces and grew to 1 pound 9 ounces, gaining 10 ounces.   Baby B was 1 pound 4 ounces and grew to 2 pounds, gaining 12 ounces. They are still concerned about Baby A's growth relative to his brother and would have great concern is that shared the same sac but she continues to say they look good. All my levels and their levels are normal. After my last appointment I called all my twin mommies on ways to beef them up.  I have been having regular meals and 3 boosts a day---yummy:/! The doctor continues to say "that are two different babies with two genetic make-ups"....yes look at their Daddy and Momma, 5 foot and 5'11!!!

I did find it ironic that bigger brother had his arm around "little" brother. It was so amazing to see them face-to-face. I wonder what their bond will be at birth and what their differences will be. We pray for their continued growth and health. We return to the specialist at 28 weeks and it will be time for steroid shots to advance their lung development and to register at the hospital for their birth. Time is flying by---in 10 weeks we will meet Grant Thomas and Carter James.

Homecoming 2013

So homecoming came and went last week in all the rain! We made it to our first Bear game and it was a huge victory, 55-7!  The kids were ecstatic to be there and have begged me all September to go. We have stayed busy but have really tried to take advantage of being at home and resting when at all possible. Ready for another Bear victory tonight!!

All About Jaxon

This little boy melts our heart and in the same breath he can wear you out in a second.  Jaxon is all boy and high energy but such a pleaser. He is doing well in school and has settled in to the routine of PreK. He is starting to read 2-letter sight words and comes home with all kind of stories.

Things are that pop into my mind at this age for milestones or uniqueness in his personality are:
  • every night he calls us into his room to tell us a "secret"--whether it be a quick "I love you" or to make a request
  • he LOVES LOVES sports--he helps at every practice and is on the field for Kennedy's practices as well
  • he can write his name, is reading simple words and is "ready to be 5"
  • he will be the "boss" of his baby brother:))
  • even though he is rough and tough he hates to see others get hurt
  • he LOVES LOVES LOVES his DADDY--on the nights that Jeremy has a game he often cries for him or waits up for him. This never last longer than 15 minutes but it makes him happy and Daddy always kisses him goodnight whether asleep or awake or the time of night
