 We started off our summer with a bang. We headed to Round Rock Wednesday came home Friday to repack and left for our annual Maurer trip to Galveston.  The trip was relaxing and we enjoyed beach and pool time!! Thanks mom and dad for the getaway--we always look forward to it!!

The Montgomery Bears walked away with the bronze medal, 3rd place in the state! Our team wanted the state title and lost to Heath who won the championship. This year we lived by the words, " Dare to dream it, work to win it" and "Team first".  A trip to state is achieved by believing and fulfilling these words. Hats off to an incredible year and a special "thank you" to our boys who are such role models to my own children by their actions and work ethic. Hats off to my husband, who has a passion and drive for the game and for the athletes that he coaches.  Thank you for this life- we love it and we love you!!

We headed out of town Wednesday but not without a  big send off from the community! The bus was led out of town by a fire truck and with a long caravan!  Montgomery went to state in 2005 and made their 2nd appearance this year!  Every high school athlete dreams of playing in the state tournament and few get the opportunity. Sports is such a big part of our lives and always will be. We love for this "stuff" and have the passion that goes with it too.  Way to go BEARS!!!!
