Birthday Sundaes

Jaxon had a great 3rd birthday. The party was fun and we ended up with 60 people in our house. Yes it looked like a bomb went off after the birthday fun but that's what birthdays are for. We were so exited to finish our house so that we could fill it with people, love, and laughter. Clean up was quick!

We enjoyed church Sunday and Jaxon got a birthday sundae at 10am in the morning. Talk about a treat!!!! He partied like a 3-year-old and we are so excited to see what this year brings!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this BOY

This pictures tears at my heart strings...and you ask why?? We have seen this face before a couple of times. It is one of mere joy, happiness, and delight. Anyone who knows me knows that I am sentimental. I talk in front of patients, families, and church frequently and can sail through it fine, however, when my children are involved the tears start to flow no matter the occassion or emotion...happiness, sadness, hope, fear, and just being one proud momma.  I love this picture because it truly captures the moment!

Jaxon got a gator for his birthday!!! He is loving it!!!

Petting Zoo and Pony Ride

Jaxon celebrated his 3rd birthday in style with a petting zoo and pony rides. To say that he was estactic doesn't even measure up to the excitement this little boy had! Jaxon lived it up petting  a lama, goat, pig, mule, rooster, and rabbits.

A Tradition

This cute little boy will be three in 3 days!!!!!!!!!! Where has the time gone? He makes us smile everyday and definitely keeps us on our toes. In keeping with the Maurer grandchild tradition, I finally snapped a photo of Jaxon in his blue glasses. I attempted other times, however, I did not have a willing participant.
