Trophy Day

Trophy day is here! This is the highlight for all the kids playing little dribblers. The last game constitutes getting a trophy. Kennedy really enjoyed basketball--even though neither Jeremy or I are big basketball people, she loved it and we may sign up again next year:). She also had some special fans come to watch...Granny and PoPo came to cheer her on!

Bear Baseball...It's Here

This post should read Bear Baseball, It's Been Here! We made it to our first game this weekend and was reminded of why I like baseball so much. Yes, when your husband coaches it you do love it. Sometimes I wish I would have attempted to play at some point in my life. Baseball season brings intensity, relaxation, time with friends, and for us additional family time.

The Bears start District play tonight. Get ready for a long journey and lots of baseball photos to come!

GO BREWER'S

The Brewer's kicked off their season this Monday! Kennedy had so much fun.....we all had so much F-U-N. I don't remember last season being this intense and exciting and can't wait to see the season progress. Kennedy had 3 singles her first game and made a mad dash to first base to talk to the first-base coach ......her daddy. She got on each hit and enjoyed playing a little of everywhere...short-stop, outfield, 2nd base. We are involved parents this season. We coached last year and it was lots of fun, however, it is lots of fun to be on the side-line this year!

A funny twist to the night was when Kennedy came up to her first time at bat. As I reached in my bag to pull out the camera, Jaxon yells, "Momma gotta poop!" Since we are potty-trained now I was ready to run him to the bathroom  but didn't want to miss Kennedy's 1st-at-bat. I turned around for 10 seconds looked back and Jaxon stood there naked....pants and undies around his ankles.  It was quite comical and the park is heavily populated so everyone saw. It was even more comical when he did it a second time!!! Goodness!

T-Ball 2012

T-ball has been under way for about 2 weeks now. We are so excited!!!!! Kennedy played at the YMCA last year and she is playing in Montgomery Little League this year. We are very excited about that....#1 the field is less than 5 minutes from the house:):)!

F-U-N has been the word to describe it! I did not look forward to the 2-day practices but they have lessened to one to no practices since games are underway. It has been so much to watch her play and she is having fun!

Jeremy and I are helping out as needed...for him it is fun to just be "daddy" and not be coaching for a bit. She loves every minute of it!

Rodeo Day

Kennedy on Rodeo Day last week:). They spent the week learning about the "Lone Star State". She can tell you all about the state flower, how to spell Texas, and how to camp out like a "real" cow girl!

Tea Party

One of Kennedy's best friends Brooklyn has been wanting to have a tea party and so this past Saturday was the date. The girls had fun dressing the part, putting on make-up and nails, and got to enjoy some yummy treats. Kennedy came home with all kinds of goodies---they definitely got pampered:)
