Shows and Rides

Polar Express in 4D...it snowed in the theatre!

Sea World

You may look at these pictures and say...."this does not look like Sea World to me!"  Sea World during the holiday season operates from 12 to 9 and is gearing toward Christmas. The Sesame Street character were there too and the kids had so much fun!! I thought Kennedy might be too old for some of the characters, but she wasn't. They honestly were in awe and there was not shy bone in either of their little bodies when it came time to meet these big guys.

Jeremy waited in a short line with the kids to get photos. I missed this but he said Jaxon's face was priceless when he first saw Elmo and hugged him. They were able to meet with the characters throughout the day.

Hanging in the Hotel

We staying on the River Walk and took advantage of the heated pool. You would think we fed the kids candy every morning. We took a dip in the pool around 930 am:) and while the kids swam we enjoyed our morning beverages.

San Antionio Trip

Jeremy was off Thanksgiving week so I took advantage of that and took off too....sounds good to me!! We packed our bags and went to San Antonio for three days. We really had a great time with the kids. It was nice to hang out without anything pressing to do. We took full advantage of our mini vacation!

Jaxon trying to understand the Mariachi band seeing "The Chicken Song"

I have stared at this picture at least 10 times, does she not look 10?

I almost forgot.....
this truly is the biggest margarita I have ever seen or consumed and Jeremy seemed quite exited too!

Family Favorites

Thanksgiving 2011

Making Turkeys with Granny

We enjoyed being with all of our family over the Thanksgiving holiday. We reminisced and enjoyed each other in the best ways we know how---fun, food, a game of pitch, laughter, and just being family.

One of the biggest blessings of all, Grannie Maurer
She came to Thanksgiving and it was so nice for everyone to be all together.
