Did I happen to mention that this weekend was jam packed full of festivities?? We took family pictures with Granny and PoPo for their upcoming anniversary celebration, had Father's Day lunch with PoPo, and then celebrated with cousin Rachel at her wedding. In all the craziness I forgot my clothes for our pictures and thank goodness for Jamie (K) Maurer:) for saving me.

Full Weekend

Our 1st stop this past Friday was to celebrate my Aunt Barbara's retirement. It was a great party and nice to celebrate with her in this special time in her life.

Bye Bye Galveston

The kids loved sleeping with mom and dad. Kennedy being daddy's girl jumped at being able to sleep with daddy and Jaxon got to sleep with me. Normally, when it comes to bedtime, I put Kennedy to sleep and Jeremy puts Jaxon to sleep. Jaxon is very adamant that daddy read to him and rock. I miss it but am glad that he loves his daddy so much! I was excited to wake up to these big blue eye and a huge smile, "Hi Mommy!"

Heading Back for More, Galveston Trip # 2

The Maurer Family
Hey Blondie

MaMa and her girls

MacKenzie and Kennedy
We headed back to Galveston last weekend with MaMa and PaPa their treat. It has been about two years that we have been to Galveston with mom and dad and we missed it. They treat us to a couple of trips a year and this was one of them. I remember getting in the car Sunday and told Jeremy how relaxing the trip was. We hung out, played in the water, napped, and enjoyed each other's company....a perfect vacation. Thanks Mom and Dad!
