We celebrated at the Arnold home for our 1st annual ornament exchange. We had so much fun!! The mom's got some "girl" time and the kids played and we all ended up playing the Wii. We can't wait for the next party!

The Journey Ends
The journey ends and what a great journey it was!! Watching your team or any team play in the play-offs gives you an "awstruck" feeling. Watching the boy and girls run onto the field Saturday gave me the chills. It was an awesome game and the BEARS had an awesome season. Santa showed up at the game too as a "prop" in the drill team's half-time entertainment. Kennedy is yelling at him in one of the photos:)

Oh Christmas Tree
This year we scaled back from a 9 foot to a 2 foot tree and the 9 foot tree is not missed. This kids are estactic about our new tree and it goes perfect in our new "rental" home. Decorating the tree was extra special this year because we made our own ornaments and strung popcorn to adorn the tree. I love the true happiness and the acceptance of the simple things that my children offer. As they grow older some things may change, but I hope simplification does not change. It lends to an even brighter recognition of the true reason we celebrate CHRISTmas.

Get Well Grannie
Amidst all the joys of the year we are missing one special woman. Grannie Maurer is still in the hospital and we pray and think of her every hour of the day. Jason had a great idea, as we are blessed by his many talents always, to make Grannie cards at Thanksgiving. Each member of the family young and old(er) put their thoughts on paper. Special cannot even hold a candle to the amazing woman Grannie is, equally as special as grandpa was. I pray that God takes her in his arms when the time is right and keeps her with us as long as he deems she is needed here.
Simply stated, "WE WOULD NOT BE FAMILY WITHOUT YOU"
