I'm the Goalie

Kennedy got to try out the position of "goalie" this weekend. During the second half she made it to the goal and seemed to like it. A couple of times she watched the ball roll in and then other times she stopped the ball. It is so nice to watch her play just having fun, doesn't matter who wins, she just sits back and has a great time.....wish life was always like that!

MaMa and PaPa came up for the game too! Fan-favorites!

This Will Make You SMILE

The kids are so fun right now (always) but this age is fun watching them play together. Jaxon is not so easy-going as he was and he has an opinion now when sister tells him to do something.

Cookie Time

We had some left over cookies this past week from when MaMa came to visit and we finished them off. The kids enjoyed the afternoon making cookies and enjoying playing outside. It has been so beautiful lately!!

Bath Time is Still Fun

Bathing the two kids together makes things quick but not always so easy. Kennedy likes to "float" in the tub and then you add Jaxon to the mix which includes belly flopping, pouring water out of the tub, and antagonizing his sister.

He is really starting to push her buttons and not so discretely. He goes to give her a "love pat" (hitting, poking) and then looks rights at us. Last week I moved his car seat for a peaceful ride home. He would sit beside her and reach for her or poke her. This led to tears and Jaxon going for more. I secretly was laughing in the front seat and thinking this is only the begining. I did feel reassured and so proud when Kennedy told her Sunday School class that "Jaxon is her best friend." What a fun time!!

This weekend we had a special visit from Granny and PoPo. Jaxon got to play soccer on the sidelines which made him so very happy!

Couldn't Resist

Yes I have already blogged about Kennedy starting soccer, but when each Saturday comes around I cannot help but smile. Between occassionally soccer kicks, goals, picking grass, there is this......hand holding. Kennedy loves Brooklyn. Get ready for soccer updates until the end of the season November 13th.
