There Were 3 in the Bed

I think of the book that Kennedy got from Doug and Dorothy when I think of the new sleeping arrangements lately. Kennedy has been making her way to our room about 5 or so and comes to Daddy's side saying, "I want to lay in bed with you and mommy!" I admit I do like to snuggle up to this little sweetheart but after about day four I have been laying awake waiting for the alarm to sound. And here is what comes to mind..."There were 3 in the bed and the little one said roll over, roll over"

Bath Time

Jaxon has not taken many baths solo after he could sit. The kids get in the tub and could play for hours on end. They have switched toys too...Kennedy now prefers all of Jaxon's new toys and he prefers to chew on her bath baby.

Happy Birthday Hudson

It is so hard to imagine that little Hudson turned one!!!!!! We packed up the car and headed to Dallas this weekend to celebrate with our best little friend. He had a great 1st birthday and was a champ at eating his cake. Look at that adorable face!!!

Now these girls are too sweet!!!! They have become great friends. You always pray that your kids will be good friends with your best of friends and get along etc. There are no problems here!!! They simply pick up where they left off...

Now these two...they are starting to play with each or just take toys as little ones do.

It will fun to watch them this summer at the beach in Florida.

We were missing a part of our family at the party. For those of you who know "the girls" Taryn and Sandi....Sandi was expecting twins and the sweet boys, Carson and Hudson, arrived January 14th. They came into the world little and strong and we are so excited to add them to the family. We love you all!!

Jeremy turned 32 this past Saturday! Kennedy had to made him some kind of cake. We made cupcakes Friday night and ended up making purple icing as per Kennedy's request for the "Bears". My children are blessed to have an amazing father and I am blessed to have an amazing life partner. Happy Birthday Daddy!!

A Week of Firsts

This past week was a proud one for us! Jaxon took his first steps. We were in the bathroom and he made a dash for the tub...step 1..step 2...and took hold of the tub's edge. Kennedy has moved up into the older three's class this week. She learned to spell her name! She loves to read the letters of her name above her bed and we asked her if she could spell her name. She spelled it numerous times on her own and likes to "sign" the letters "E, D, Y" when she spells it:) We have a little teacher of some kind on our hands. So....we are proud.....amazing little people!

Totally boy! Jaxon keeps himself content playing with balls and digging in the remote basket in the living room. We normally leave the TV off while the kids are up and let them just play around the house. However, even with little exposure Jaxon will pick up the remote push a button and look to the TV. Is it just engrained????

Proud Big Girl

Kennedy has really gotten into dressing up and pulls clothes out of her closet saying, "Momma, this is cute" or we get, "I am not wearing that today." This is one of her favorites...can't you tell?
