This game went on for a couple of days

Last week Jeremy and I enjoyed a couple of days in Dallas at the National Baseball Convention. Jeremy and the guys enjoyed the classes and we got to enjoy some girl time. On the other hand, the kids got to enjoy some time at MaMa and PaPa's. They spent two nights in Brenham and Kennedy got to play some with Avery, Austin, and Caleb at their house and then they came up to visit at MaMa and PaPa's.....which she thought was a big treat!

Truly God's Gift

Jaxon turned 10 months this week on Monday. I slipped in after he had fallen asleep and just sat and watched him sleep peacefully. Our Lord is truly amazing and we thank him everyday for our two amazing blessings.

Gum in Goldilock's Hair

I was thinking of updates in our lives... nothing immediately came to my mind with the exception of the normal in and outs. The pictures downloaded and...I remember last week I got a call from Jeremy as he is driving home with the kids, "Get ready Kennedy has gum in her hair!!!" It came out quite easily and without tears on anyone's part-maybe that is the reason that I almost forgot about it!

Some Funnies and Sweetness

Kennedy has definitely come out of her shell and has something to say about everything. These are some of the funny things that brought a smile to our face recently.

• "I love you to your heart!" Every night I tell her I love you with all my heart..this is her take on it. She has a big heart and at the oddest times she will come up and whisper "I love you" in our ear or the other day I got the above:)

• I want to go to the Donut Store and not the Paint Store. This came about when she wanted her nail polish off and after it was off she said the above and then came back with that she likes to get her toes painted not her nails.

• She prays for different things every night. Common themes are her grandparents, cousins, Cooper, different family members, baby Jesus, and she thanks God for helping her get big.

• Momma's word is the law:)....poor Daddy! ! Kennedy will ask Jeremy for something, he will give her an answer, and then she comes directly to me, Momma, "Can I have .....". After I answer the same she says, "Daddy, Momma said I could have the gum" or whatever was requested:)

Jaxon

Jaxon will be 10 months in a couple of days. Some new things that he loves and is now doing-

• Clapping
• Waving Bye-Bye
• Cruising and Standing Alone
• Shows Attachments
• Has said Momma, Da, Bye (Kennedy stands in front of him saying "K-E-N-N-E-D-Y, say Kennedy)
• Holding his bottle---the joke was he never held it he would just lay back and let you feed him....I said he never had too:)
• Into to everything and the little guy is QUICK!!

1st Sleepover

This past Thursday cousin MacKenzie came to stay with Kennedy for two days. MaMa and PaPa took care of Jaxon to allow us to take the girls for a bit. Kennedy was yelling in excitement when she saw MacKenzie and was completely beside herself! We went to"Old MacDonald" (MacDonald's) and the "Paint Store" (Pedicure). It was nice to hang out and watch them play together.

We met some friends at Incredible Pizza...after games the adults had a change of heart and
we headed to Roadhouse (don't twist my arm..buffet pizza or steak)

Ski Bowl...noticed the overhand throw. Needless to say we were fetching balls

Just a Swinging

For Christmas we got the kids a swing set and after at least 8 hours of hard labor, sweat and the help of some friends the project was completed. Kennedy and MacKenzie got to play on it this weekend and had a blast. Thank you Daddy!!!
