Let the Festivities Begin

This was our first year to be home on the 24th morning so we decided to have Christmas here with the kids. Kennedy left Santa a cookie (there were two however she decided to eat one of them). It took her longer than usual to fall asleep because she didn't want to miss Santa coming.

Hey, there's something in my stocking!!

Jaxon's 1st Christmas. He is happy to play with the paper:)

Merry Christmas Jaxon

Santa brought Kennedy barbie toys...she was so excited. She opened the present and said, "Ah....I love it!"

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a blessed and merry Christmas. Remember the true reason for the season...the birth of Jesus. Happy Birthday Jesus!

The Polar Express

Hot chocolate......come aboard the Polar Express. We packed up the car and headed to Palestine yesterday with the Maurer's to enjoy a good old train ride. The kids really enjoyed it and eagerly awaited the arrival of Santa. Overall, it was a great trip and I am sure we will be going again when Jaxon gets a little older.
All Aboard.....The Polar Express
What a nice looking group:)

The Polar Express

A before picture.....Jaxon stayed with MaMa and PaPa. Don't worry..you will
get to go when you are "big"

I have my ticket......however I do not think our conductor was as handy as the one on the real Polar Express...do you see "believe"

Kennedy dancing in the aisle with the chef
Both Avery and Kennedy enjoyed dancing

It's Santa

Kennedy and the conductor

When she saw the train she yelled, "It's the Polar Express!!!!!!"

One of my favorite photos! Caleb joined in with the big kids too...what cute kids:)

Avery and Kennedy. Kennedy and Avery had so much fun together...this is one disadvantage to not living in Brenham....they were planning a sleep over which we postponed for a later date!

Silver Wings Party 2009

Every year at this time we celebrate with family and friends packing up the kids and traveling to different functions. One party that we look forward to is the Silver Wings party. It has been fourteen years since I worked there and it is great to catch up with old and new friends.

Throw them all in! We may be contacting Gamblers Anonymous in the future!

I Love Santa

This past Friday Kennedy had her Christmas party at school. It was fun to watch her interact with her friends and to see Santa. They had "snow ball" fights and story time before the big man in the red suit arrived. Kennedy is so excited about Christmas this year!

Kennedy wanted to write a letter to Santa this year and cut out pictures of things she might like. She loves drawing "A, E, D, F", hearts, and just started writing I love you

(when mommy doesn't ask of course).

Kennedy and Santa

Jaxon will see Santa soon. We were 1 for 2....he wanted no part of Saint Nicholas and cried the whole time, which will be the case I am sure the next round1:)

Dearing Dazzle with the Gary's

Last night we met up with the Gary's and enjoyed dinner and then a trip to Dearing Dazzle. For those of you not from this area the Christmas light show (Dearing Dazzle) is amazing. The photos I took do it no justice.

Grace School Christmas Program

This past Wednesday the kids had their Christmas Program. It is so beautiful to watch the Christmas story and of course to watch your children in it!! The children ended the program with the song "Happy Birthday Jesus" by the Tabernacle Choir. It was beautiful and was a wonderful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
December 16, 2009

Kennedy is in a dance class every Thursday at school. Her class danced to "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". She did great and to my amazement was able to do the whole dance!

The Angel and Baby Jesus

Jingle Bells....The Infant Class rode in on a "sleigh". They asked me to bring Jaxon's cap.

All of the caregivers at the sitters are amazing women and we thank God for the love they give our children!
